Festivals are definitely entertaining. They are events hosted in celebration of something auspicious. It will become even more amazing when there are discount fireworks SC displays at night. If you are a photographer, then you should be excited at the prospect of getting amazing pics. If a person have plans to take the pictures, here are amazing tips to take note of.

First, it is only natural that you take the right equipment in your task. There are equipment that can help you get the best shots. For example, you need to bring a tripod to avoid sinking, wobbling, and tipping. Extra batteries are necessary for this task too, especially since you need to go for long exposures and the battery gets drained easily with that.

The ISO is another setting necessary for this type of photography. In the ISO, make sure that it has already been set to low, maybe at 200 or 100. With the low ISO, one can avoid introducing more noise to your pics. The noise will be common if the photos have lots of blue areas. Nighttime pictures have many blue areas so using low ISO can eliminate those noise.

The camera you are using might also have a setting for long exposure noise reduction. Better turn that off. This setting is only doing a nice job in noise reduction for normal photography. If it is firework photography, it will just add more complications. Not turning off the said setting will certainly make you miss some displays.

Another feature in your camera that you do not want to use in this kind of picture-taking event is live view. This is due to the fact that the battery will get drained faster with the live view. The live view should only be reserved for shooting videos. It is recommended to limit your view to the eyecup viewfinder.

A manual mode is suitable for exposure in this kind of photography. On the other hand, the aperture must be set to f5.6 or f8. The said aperture choices are ideal for firework photography. Closing more would make the light trails become thinner. Opening more will also make the taken photographs overexposed.

Look into the shutter speed as well. Make sure that you set the shutter speed to an ideal setting, which is the range between two and ten seconds. Consider testing some shots some time before the pyrotechnic display starts. Doing that allows you to make adjustments to the exposure according to the lighting available.

The lens are necessary for your shots. It would be good for the lens to be focused already before the pyrotechnic display begins. After focusing, turn off the AF function. You must not forget to turn the said setting off if you do not want the camera to always refocus on every shot. You will just miss images and have blurry pics otherwise.

Make sure you take lots of shots at the start of the pyrotechnic show. By taking shots at the beginning, you can avoid the problems of smoke and haze appearing in your shots. These smoke and haze eventually becomes visible as more and more fireworks get displayed. These are just hindrances that makes the photos look ugly.
