There are numerous stands and stores that some of the favorites for the 4th of July can be purchased. Whether you like sparklers or cannons, there is always a plethora of places to purchase from. Deciding what fireworks SC to use for your party, holiday or any celebration can be fun if you know what each type does.

An assortment will have many different kinds of bangs and colors included. Fountains, poppers, sparklers and different smokes are commonly found in these. This type of family assortment is ideal for small children or a show that does not need any loud noises or large displays. Larger assortments normally include shells, rockets and repeaters that make an aerial display of some kind.

A repeater is one that has many tubes connected by a fuse, with each tube having a different effect inside. It will have a bottom fuse and not a side or top fuse like fountains, so it is easy to distinguish. These can provide a show for a few minutes, and include different sized aerial shells so that the effects in every tube are different.

Reloading shell kits are always popular, and are available in one or two tube mortars. This is to say that one or two tubes that a shell can be loaded into in order to fire are included. These are known by artillery shells as well, and there are numerous designs that are made in the sky when this type is launched after lighting. The packaging will tell you exactly what the shells will show when they explode.

Firecrackers are popular with younger people, and offer no color show but a simple loud noise. When they're lit, they pop loudly and go out. Flying spinners have wings to take flight whereas ground spinners simply sit on the ground and spin different colors. When they're each lit, the fuse begins pushing in a direction causing a circular motion that continues until the fuse is out. Loud whines and whizzing noises accompany this thirty second fun time, with no light show.

A fountain will sit on the ground or a flat surface and is lit from a fuse on the top or side. When the fuse hits the tubes inside, different colored displays ensue that rise up to 10 feet high. Some of these have audible effects such as whines and whistles that are incorporated into the ten foot light display.

Rockets and missiles are those that are lit that shoot into the air and pop to give a display. A Roman Candle is much like this, however it stays in one place and different shells are shot out of it into the air much like mortars. Smoke is simply the small balls that are lit that make different colored smoke clouds, and sparklers are lit and held in the hand to create a sparkling display.

A wheel can be attached to just about anything stationary, and is lit to provide a small display that spins around on the stationary object. There are other novelty firecrackers that can be found in Dillon, SC that allow a child the chance to play without being in danger. Snappers and poppers are ideal for this, as they are simply thrown onto the ground and pop without any ignition. For more information on these or others, contact your nearest dealer.
