Every individual undergoes various phases of emotions in their lifetime, often becoming fixated on their current state of mind. When a person is sad, they tend to focus on depressive or negative thoughts. There are ways to get relief from such emotional turmoil such as the path to self realization, which helps one to attain inner peace and happiness, while still fulfilling their worldly responsibilities.

Beyond common activities of working, cooking and minding a household, one must consider the actual purpose of a human life. The point is to find a pure internal happiness through love, truth, peach, freedom and beauty. Perhaps the first step is to understand the value of one's very existence and that emotional control is an essential part of the journey.

Human nature is to seek something that makes one happy when there is dissatisfaction within oneself. When each and every day is considered a gift, one seeks to replace that which is sad with something of a more positive nature. Unfortunately, this feeling of euphoria is eventually replaced again by a sense of unrest or negativity that starts the entire cycle once more, continuing without end.

Emotions are a constant flux of hormones, which often result in unconscious changes in moods and behaviors. Many people seek to control these naturally occurring chemical reactions by repressing them, which can result in stress, depression or outbursts of anger, sadness, laughter or confusion. A more effective way to manage these issues is by embarking on a journey of understanding why one experiences such feelings,

Many individuals feel that finding a way to accept themselves on a fully spiritual level will help them effectively confront the obstacles in their path with an objective calm. An average person may often reflect upon deep concerns like where everything began, why there is life at all, and just how they fit in the grand scheme that is the vast universe. The journey begins by letting go of the things that can not be answered and focusing on what is tangible now.

It is important to accept that some things are simply beyond human comprehension and that those matters are better left to the universe to handle. People are endowed with five senses, all of which process factors that are purely tangible, materialistic aspects within which one may become deeply fixated. True freedom and knowledge comes from not focusing on what will be, or what once was, rather only feeling what is happening currently.

It is also important to understand that life is a series of oppositions that even each other out. One can not know true happiness without experiencing some sadness, and there can be no concept of good unless there is also one of bad. Looking at all opposites as integral parts of life, embracing and living each as an accepted step in the journey without extreme emotion, is the key to realizing the whole of oneself.

Inner peach can be achieved by taking a number of different paths. Some may choose worship, while others might opt for meditation or changing, all of which are designed to train one to focus their mind and go inside themselves. This allows a person to concentrate on the root of an emotion, thereby controlling it and becoming knowledgeable.
