Having children at home will surely cause chaos at home. If you want to distract them from playing violently or from getting under your skin, then you should do your best to keep them entertained. Not only giving them entertainment, you also have to teach some lessons in life for them through how you keep them entertained.



It is a good thing that there are now numerous methods that you can use to play with kids. Out of the available methods for playing, you should consider choosing fun family card games. You will also need to get a standard deck of cards. Explain the rules to the kids, regardless of how tough it might be for them to understand.



Crazy Eight. You simply need to gather a few players to play this game. You can have two to four players to play for this particular game. Moreover, you have to invite those who are at least five years old to participate in this very entertaining game.



If you want a popular one, then there is the Old Maid. Just like with the other ones you can play, you will have to get multiple players for this. The more players, the more fun it will be. At least three people should do the deal. The players suitable for this game are those that are above the age of five years old.



The game War will definitely become a hit with the kids. You will just have to make good use of your standard deck of cards. This is a duel game, basically a two-player one. It is game suitable to be played by kids who are aged six years old and above. The rules are a bit complicated so be patient in explaining it.



A memory game can be played at home as well. This game, aside from being called a memory game, can also be called as concentration. You can play the game with two players as the least minimum player requirement. You can play this together with children three years and above.



There are certainly a whole lot more you can play with the children. Pick the one that is suitable and easy to understand with the children who are in your home. If you can choose properly, then this will surely keep the children's mind sharp. It will help with their development positively.
