There is a real need for these groups, as many people are lost without an anchor to ground them, having been through the wars of life, through a divorce, a death of family members, unemployment, hardships, and the many other trials and tribulations that every human must deal with in their lives. All life is suffering, finding meaning in that suffering is what makes life endurable. Living without faith makes life that much harder, and trials and challenges more difficult to bear.

The preacher in church speaks to the many. This group, which is a small group, can deal individually with a member who joins the group, almost in a mentor position, but helps the individual to cope spiritually with life s challenges, walks the path with them, so they are not alone, as this is most people s fear. Facing a challenge alone, cut off from family, or community, or just too afraid to trust others.

Dealing with an individual, building a relationship in fellowship both walking the journey to transformation, and encouraging and helping the member achieves so much more than the sermon preached, as although the sermon might have meaning for the member, once out of the church, life happens again, until the next church meeting. And no actual change has taken place.

This all takes place over time as transformation is a process, which happens gradually. Not like enlightenment, which clarifies a moment, or an epiphany which also clarifies a moment, but helps highlight something you have missed. Transformation is the process of living your highest self, by becoming Christ-like, living the bible, in words, thoughts and deeds.

How do we make people see that everything that appears on earth is for his purpose? God s purpose. God provides, and man decides, as he made man in his image. People search for happiness, and this can only really be attained if these three realities are aligned and in sync: The: Physical, Mental and Spiritual parts of ourselves.

Physically we take care of ourselves to live, Mentally, we bombard our minds with more and more information, our Spiritual life we need to take care of by joining a spiritual transformation group to be the best of ourselves that we can be with this group.

Trauma can be crippling. It is not only the trauma that you suffer at the time, but it is also the after effects which almost seem to be worse in some aspects. A group can be very useful with trauma because you get to identify with others who have been through similar scenarios.

This can be the start to something very positive. There are many ways of working your way towards this point where you begin to live in a more healthy way. However, it is not a walk in the park. You won't be healed overnight and it is definitely not an instant cure. It takes time, and it also takes a lot of effort to get to this point.

It is also a good idea to get involved in creative therapy. This will help you to focus on arts and crafts, dancing and movement and forget about what you are thinking about for the time being. There is also another side to this where you begin to draw more about what has happened to you and this is the non-verbal form of therapy which comes out.
