It can also be used to facilitate recovery from an injury. Sportsmen need to recover from injuries in a timely manner so that they can get back to the track or field.

Meditation is as old as time. Even before the birth of modern day civilizations, humans were still meditating. One of the first people to adopt medication techniques were the ancient Indians. In fact, it is believed that meditation started in India. Later, the Chinese adopted it. Over the last few centuries, meditation techniques have spread to different parts of planet earth.
